Ahead of the Singapore Race I think the following is the fairest overall summary of where the teams are (more detailed analysis can be found in the individual pages for Teams and Overall):
- Mercedes are running the most efficient operation, but only just, Force India are hot on their heels as they have been all season.
- Lotus are burning red hot, it will be a miracle if they make the remains of the season let alone next year.
- Red Bull are fighting back but it is costing a fair penny.
- Williams are probably improving at the expense of Ferrari.
