Whilst the race itself was very intersting and good viewing, the impact of the result was not too strategic in overall shift.
Looking at the Performance Coeficient Plot there have been a few adjustments, but they seem to be minor:
- Mercedes continue to mantain their position in the mid-30s but seem unlikely to return to their early season high level performance. The data continues to suggest that Monaco was a defining moment for the team.
- Red Bull are slowly continuing their increase in Performance. Probably too late to make a difference but shows they are working well as a team. This is probably at the expense of McLaren.
- Williams were the dissapointment of the day, they failed to capitalise on the rise of the Italian results.
I will write more detail on the outcome of the figures once the individual team results have been updated as this will tell us more.
